Morning,
So far I’ve neglected to post on this, been far too busy chilling to even contemplate it π
We haven’t travelled far as yet, just from Bangkok to Koh Chang, but we’ve seen so many beautiful sites already…
Let’s start with The Big Mango (Bangkok), the city that seems to never sleep.
We stayed in Khaosan Baan Thai, a hostel not far from Khaosan Road, but in the quieter area, a road called Samsen Soi (we’re not party animals haha, we like peace and quiet π- old before our time). The hostel was very highly rated on trip advisor, and rightly so, the hotel was lovely, all staff were friendly and we had a very pleasant stay there π
We had planned to head straight from Bangers up North towards Chiang Mai, as we had booked a flight onwards to Laos for 27th, however our plans soon changed. A quick email to LaoAirlines & our flights were cancelled & refunded – not in full – but a refunds a refund right?!
The lady at Khaosan Baan Thai then helped us book a taxi to Koh Chang (950Baht return) which was a bargain – Β£19 for a 6 hour car journey & the ferry over! So the plan had changed, we were now headed to the beautiful island of Koh Chang, for a weeks worth of extreme chilling! π΄π
Whilst in Bangkok we did the usual touristy bits – we saw the Grand Palace/The Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho, Siam Oceanworld/Siam Paragon, visited the endless amounts of market stalls and also visited the notorious Chinatown. Photos below π

So after a long journey on the bus, we’re here, in the paradise known as Koh Chang . We’re staying at a beautiful little resort in Bang Bao called Cliff Cottage. The scenery here is beautiful, rooms are fantastic, and the staff are incredibly attentive. Theres a few snaps of our accomodation whilst we’ve been staying at Cliff Cottage Resort at the bottom of this post π
We leave here on the 10th, heading back to Bangkok for a couple of nights, then we will be off North to Ayutthaya, last stop North will be Chiang Mai.
Here are a few snaps of Koh Chang so far ….
Monkeys outside our room this morning π

Inside the bungalow, very bright, clean and spacious
All in all we’re really enjoying our time in Koh Chang – hope all the pics are making you all back home jealous π
Plenty more to come.
Any tips on top spots to visit in Thailand or Vietnam?
Have a good day,
Josh and Hayley
Xx
